Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is a British-Canadian actress most well-known for her performance as Samantha Jones in the HBO series Sex and the City for which she earned five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. In the years 2008 and 2010 she reprised the role in the film Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. Her other notable roles include her roles as a leading actress in 1980s movies Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall comes to mind when you talk about her role as Samantha Jones on the hit HBO television show Sex & the City. The character of Samantha Jones played by noted actress Cattrall was an important event in her career. The popularity of her character grew not just in her home country but she became an international celebrity. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most well-known performance was in the comedy-drama film La Dolce Vita. The film received an Oscar as well as received the Golden Palm in Cannes Film Festival in 1960. It also was both critically and commercially successful. Born in Sweden in the city of Skane, she worked as a fashion model before beginning her acting profession. She was named Miss Sweden. In the US her first appearance was in movies playing minor roles. She portrayed in the film Venusian guard in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars the film that was her first part in a credit role. She soon won the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category after being featured in the movie Blood Alley.
