Taylor started her YouTube career by making ASMR videos on her phone. PewDiePie included her in a gaming online video not long after she had topped 50,000 subscribers about 1 1/2months after uploading her initial video. After two months and close to 100,000 subscribers Taylor quit producing content for her Youtube channel. She also put the entire content on private. This was primarily due to technical issues with new equipment and being overwhelmed by the amount of traffic she received. The YouTuber posted ASMR 20 triggers designed to aid in sleeping during July of 2017. (38 million views as of the end of August in 2022). In August 2017, she was interviewed for a Shane Dawson's video. Shortly after, she hit one million YouTube users. Wired UK reported that in February 2019 she earned $1000 per day from ads on her YouTube channel.

Dennis Helfer is a Canadian farmer, and Elaine Helfer, a Canadian woman was her mother. She is of German and English descendance. She attended William E. Hay Composite High School in Stettler, Alberta. The three sisters Tammy, Tara, and Trena as well as her worked at the farm where she worked on her grain. An agent scout spotted Helfer when she was 17 while she was standing in line to see a film.
